Jess is Co-Founder and Co-Creative Director of Woven Ink – an independent animation and creative studio. Based out of their studios in Oxford and London, Woven Ink work with socially conscious and progressive organisations, to share their stories, ideas and narratives in compelling and beautiful ways.
Before beginning Woven Ink, Jess was a freelance editor, animator, illustrator and graphic facilitator working with dozens of different organisations and individuals across sectors, doing much of the same kind of work she still does with Woven Ink.
She had the pleasure of illustrating Jon Harvey’s book Cracking Questions back in 2016.
Jess is passionate about the power of creative storytelling, alongside disrupting and reimagining the ways in which we work, what “success” looks like, and believes strongly in the importance of rest and play in all that we do.
She is a lover of all things mending, making, recycling and growing, and much of her time outside of Woven Ink is spent tinkering on her own personal creative projects, caring for her ever-growing collection of houseplants, and enjoying the company of her partner and dog.
She is above all else curious. And revels in any opportunity to learn more about the people and places around her.
